Logic Fruit Technologies, a product engineering and design services provider from India, announced the launch of its CAN controller IP core capable of fast data rates of up to 1 Mbps, which promises to significantly enhance the performance and efficiency of communication automotive, medical, and industrial connectivity.

The Controller Area Network (CAN) bus is a widely adopted communication protocol in the industrial sector, known for its reliability and robustness in harsh environments. However, traditional CAN implementations are limited to data rates of 250 kbps, which can become a bottleneck for applications requiring real-time data exchange or high-bandwidth communication.

Logic Fruit Technologies' new CAN controller IP core shatters this limitation by supporting data rates of up to 1 Mbps, a fourfold increase over traditional CAN. This translates to faster data transfer, improved responsiveness, and reduced latency in industrial control systems.
