Intel’s 2nd Quarter Revenue Tracking Towards High End of Guidance

Intel CFO David Zinsner states company's second-quarter revenue is tracking towards the high end of its guidance of $11.5 billion to $12.5 billion. Zinsner also added that Intel will be able to ride the artificial intelligence (AI) wave through its foundry services.

"We are seeing strong demand for our foundry services," Zinsner said. "We believe that AI is a major growth opportunity for our foundry business, and we are well-positioned to capitalize on this opportunity."

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang publicized that Nvidia could collaborate with Intel on chip production in the near future. Huang expressed their interest in using Intel's manufacturing capacity to produce its own chips, as well as chips for other companies.

The potential collaboration between Intel and Nvidia could be a major development in the semiconductor industry. Intel is the world's largest chipmaker, while Nvidia is the world's leading AI chipmaker. A collaboration between the two companies could help to address the global chip shortage and accelerate the development of new AI technologies.
