Fuji Electric India Launches New Solar Inverter

Fuji Electric India, a leading provider of power electronics and energy solutions, has announced its entry into the solar power industry with the launch of its central solar inverter PV 1500 series. The product was unveiled at the Renewable Energy India Expo (REI Expo) in Greater Noida from October 4 to 6, 2023.

The PV 1500 series is a high-performance and reliable inverter that converts direct current (DC) generated by solar panels into alternating current (AC) that can be fed into the grid. 

The inverter has a rated output power of 1500 kW and an efficiency of over 99%. It also features advanced functions such as maximum power point tracking (MPPT), reactive power control, and fault ride-through capability.

ShivaJi Waghmare, CEO of Fuji Electric India, said that the launch of the PV 1500 series is a milestone for the company, as it marks its foray into the solar power industry. 

He added that the company is committed to providing innovative and dependable solutions for renewable energy sources, especially solar power, which is gaining importance in India due to the growing concerns over global warming.

Waghmare also highlighted that Fuji Electric India offers a comprehensive range of services for solar power generation equipment, including Solar Panel Diagnostic Services. These services help customers monitor and maintain their solar facilities, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
