Neosid
NEOSID, an expert in the manufacturing of electronic components since 1933, continues to bring high-tech innovations to various sectors. The company name, derived from the Greek "neos sideros" meaning "new iron," reflects its pioneering use of carbonyl iron in producing cylinder, thread, and toroidal cores.
Founded in Berlin, Germany, NEOSID established a legally independent branch in Halver in 1947, merging the two operations in Halver by 1951. The company relocated to its current location in 1957 and expanded further with a branch operation in 1971. In 1998, NEOSID founded NEOTECH in Poland with a controlling interest, marking its cooperation with foreign companies. The start of RFID transponder production in 2012 showcased NEOSID's commitment to innovation. Recognized for its achievements, NEOSID ranked 20th among the most innovative mid-sized companies by "WirtschaftsWoche" in 2014 and was listed as a global market leader from South Westphalia by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in 2015.
