In 2008, Comair Rotron was acquired by W.E.T. Automotive Systems, AG. As of October 30, 2013, W.E.T. Automotive Systems AG was acquired by Amerigon Europe GmbH. W.E.T. Automotive Systems AG engages in the development, production, and marketing of products for thermal comfort in vehicles. The company offers seat comfort products for thermal personalization comprising seat heaters, as well as seat climate systems, such as ComfortCools Push or Pull, and ActiveCools. It also provides interior comfort products, including interior heating systems, steering wheel heating systems, and cooled and heated cup holders. In addition, the company offers electronic components, such as temperature controllers, sensors, and fans; and cable technology products consisting of configured single strands and wiring harnesses, as well as provides retrofit solutions for seat heaters.
